Apple launched New MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch with Apple M4 chip, Starting at Rs.99,900 in India
Apple has unveiled its latest 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air models, featuring the new M4 chip as the successor to last year’s M3 versions. The M4 chip enables up to 18 hours of battery life, introduces a new 12MP Center Stage camera, and comes with a lower starting price.
These models now support up to two external displays alongside the built-in screen, start with 16GB of unified memory, and debut an all-new sky blue color—a metallic light blue that creates a dynamic gradient when reflecting light—alongside midnight, starlight, and silver.
According to Apple, the M4-powered MacBook Air is up to twice as fast as the M1 model. It is equipped with a powerful 10-core CPU, an up to 10-core GPU, and support for up to 32GB of unified memory.
The M4 version delivers up to 23x faster performance than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air. Additionally, the advanced Neural Engine in the M4 chip accelerates AI-driven tasks, providing up to 3x faster performance than the M1-powered MacBook Air.

Pricing and Availability -
MacBook Air 13″ and 15″ come in Midnight, Starlight, Silver and new Sky Blue colours. It is now available for pre-order on apple.com/store and through the Apple Store app in 28 countries and regions, including India. The devices will begin arriving to customers and will be available in Apple Store locations and through Apple Authorized Resellers starting Wednesday, March 12.
