Twitter drops 140 character limit for Direct Messages

Twitter has finally got rid of its 140 character limit for Direct Messages. Twitterati can now send DM's upto 10,000 characters on the Web, Android and iOS. Twitter for Mac and TweetDeck have also been updated to allow for more than 140 characters in DMs.

Alongwith MIUI 7, Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 2 Prime both for China to be available on August 16th. Both run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based MIUI 7 and have received quite an upgrade spec-wise when compared to the Redmi Note 4G.
