Xiaomi Introduced Quad-Curved Waterfall Display Concept Smartphone with Under-Display Camera, without buttons and ports.

Today, Xiaomi has introduced its new concept smartphone with an 88° hyper quad-curved display that allows visual interfaces to flow over the phone’s surface like water. The image shows the Screen cover the entire frame of the phone and it doesn’t have ports or buttons offering a unibody no-port smartphone design.

The company has filed 46 self-developed patented technologies, and the company said that it manufactured an 88° quad-curved glass panel and used a 3D bonding process. Since the phone doesn’t come with any ports, so it will use technologies such as ultra-thin piezoelectric ceramics for the earpiece and speakers and features an industry-first flexible film display acoustic technology, third-generation under-display cameras, wireless charging, eSIM, pressure-sensitive touch sensors, and more.

As we know that the company introduced its Mi MIX Alpha concept smartphone a couple of years with an innovative Surround Screen with a screen-to-body ratio of more than 180.6%. Vivo also showed off its Nex 3 smartphone with 88° curved sides back in 2019 after that it introduced Vivo APEX 2020 concept phone with 120° curved sides, but the top and bottom of these phones are flat.

This is just a concept smartphone, which is expected to introduce later in 2021 and some features in the phone will likely be shown in a future Xiaomi phone.
