POCO F7 launched in India starting at Rs. 31,999 with 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, 7550mAh battery
POCO just launched its latest flagship smartphone in the F series, the POCO F7 in global markets and India, as previously announced. It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display with M9 luminous material, offering peak brightness of up to 3200 nits and dual brightness calibration at 100 nits and 600 nits. It boasts ultra-slim bezels—1.5mm on three sides and a 1.9mm chin.
Under the hood, the POCO F7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, with the company claiming an impressive AnTuTu score of 2.1 million. It also includes a 6000mm² dual-loop 3D IceLoop cooling system and Rage Engine 4.0 for enhanced performance tuning.
Design-wise, the phone adopts a large R-corner design with a 12.4mm radius, aiming for symmetrical curves on both the front and back. It runs Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and is promised to receive 4 major OS updates and 6 years of security patches.
Built with CNC machining and sandblasting, the phone features a durable metal mid-frame made from aviation-grade aluminum alloy, withstanding up to 70 kg of bending force, according to POCO. It also comes with IP66/68 certification and supports IP69 for enhanced water and dust resistance.
The rear camera module is made entirely of metal and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It houses a 50MP + 8MP dual-camera setup and includes a light ring with adjustable brightness. Powering the phone is a massive 7550mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. POCO claims the battery will retain 80% health even after 1600 charge cycles.
