Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also arrives in India, but just a bit too late

Alongwith the shiny new Surface Pro 4, Microsoft also launched 2014's Surface Pro 3 in India. Running on 4th-gen Intel Core processors, the Surface Pro 3 was outdated even last year and now at a price of Rs. 73990, buying it just doesn't make any sense.

But we will still take you through the specs, you have an Intel Core i3 4th-gen processor running the Surface Pro 3 with 4GB RAM, 128GB storage. It supports the new Surface Pen, which costs Rs. 5,990 and would need to be purchased separately. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, full-size USB 3.0 port, microSD card reader, mini-display port.

The new Type Cover priced at Rs. 12,490 also works with the Surface Pro 3. A 5MP camera sits in the front as well as on the back of the older Surface variant.

Microsoft is only bringing the Core i3 variant of the Surface Pro 3 in India available exclusively on Amazon.in. Pre-orders start today and the Pro 3 will start shipping January 14th. But if you are planning to buy a Surface, have a look at the Surface Pro 4 instead. It has better performance, better build, a superior and larger display.
