Sony Xperia Z2 with 4K recording, 5.2-inch 1080p display, 3 GB RAM announced
While Nokia was busy unveiling Android smartphones, Sony was too preparing to launch its new flagship. The Xperia Z2 has been announced at the MWC 2014 featuring a 5.2-inch 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and the same 20.7 MP camera as the Z1 but this time with 4K Ultra HD video recording. The Sony G Lens 20.7 MP camera has a f/2.0 aperture with a custom 1/2.3-inch sensor, Bionz image processing, and is accompanied by a 2.2 MP front-facing camera. As with all Xperia flagships it is IP55/IP58 rated for dust and water resistance. The Xperia Z2 comes with 3 GB RAM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Sony's improved Xperia UI.

The Xperia Z2 will come in Black, White and Purple colors. It will launched globally in March 2014 following MWC but there's no word on pricing yet.
