Nokia announces third Android smartphone, Nokia XL with larger display
Nokia has just announced the third smartphone in its X Series of Android smartphones. It is the Nokia XL, it features a a larger display (update: 5-inch WVGA display) than the Nokia X and X+ which have 4-inch displays as well as a 2 MP front-facing camera. It too runs the same custom UI with the ability to sideload android apps through the inbuilt file manager. You also have the Nokia Store to download Android apps, alongwith partnership with Yandex Store and seveal other 3rd party app stores in various countries. The Nokia XL too is a dual-SIM device just like the Nokia X and the X+.
Nokia Fastlane multitasking provides a unique way to interact with Android. Then there's Nokia MixRadio, Here Maps, OneDrive replacing all of Google's Cloud services in favor of Nokia and Microsoft's. You also get 10 GB of free storage on OneDrive with all Nokia X devices.
The Nokia XL has been priced at €109 (about $150 or Rs. 9300 )and will be available in Early Q2 2014 about the same time as the Nokia X+.
