Nokia X and Nokia X+ android smartphones with Nokia Store announced
Its real! The Nokia Normandy has been announced. The soon to be Microsoft company has just announced the Nokia X and Nokia X+ Android smartphones capable of running all Android apps. You can even sideload android apps with the built in file manager. The Nokia X and X+ both feature 4-inch displays. Both have expandable storage as well.
The UI is totally custom with live tiles and Nokia Fastlane multitasking. Nokia has also built its own app store called the Nokia Store with Android apps alongwith partnership with Yandex and several other 3rd party app stores to get Android apps.
All of Google's services have been removed and replaced with Microsoft and Nokia services. Here Maps, Nokia MixRadio, OneDrive, Skype and Bing Search are an important part of the new Nokia X series. You also get 10 GB of space on the Microsoft OneDrive (previously SkyDrive) with every Nokia X phone.
The Nokia X has been priced at €89 (about $122 or Rs. 7600) and the Nokia X+ €99 (about $136 or Rs. 8450). The Nokia X will be available soon while the X+ will make an appearance in early Q2 2014.
