Sony Xperia E3 and E3 Dual with 4.5-inch displays, Snapdragon 400 announced
Sony's press conference at IFA also included the announcement of the entry-level Xperia E3 and E3 Dual smartphones running Android 4.4 KitKat. The Xperia E3 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB Internal storage which is expandable using microSD cards. There's a 5 MP camera onboard with LED flash capable of recording 1080p videos alongwith a VGA front-facing unit.
The Xperia E3 comes in a dual-SIM avatar as well, E3 Dual which shares the same specs apart from the additional SIM card slot. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support with WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and FM Radio with RDS. There's a 2330 mAh battery onboard the E3 and E3 dual with Stamina mode to make it last longer.
Sony has not mentioned the price of its new entry-level offerings but they too would go on sale in Autumn in White, Black, Lime and Copper colors.
