Samsung Electronics has announced that the official rollout of One UI 7 will begin on April 7. The update brings a bold, AI-driven interface designed for enhanced personalization and control, delivering a more intuitive user experience.

One UI 7 introduces a sleek, modern design that enhances personalization for Galaxy users. The update includes a refined home screen, revamped One UI widgets, and a redesigned lock screen, making customization more seamless and intuitive.

For added convenience, the Now Bar provides real-time updates directly on the lock screen. Whether tracking a workout or checking media playback on Galaxy Buds, users can view key information with a simple swipe—no need to unlock the device.

AI-Powered Tools for Smarter Interaction -

One UI 7 integrates advanced AI features to streamline everyday tasks and boost creativity.

AI Select analyzes context to offer smart suggestions. Users can swipe open the Edge Panel, tap the AI Select icon, and effortlessly save videos as GIFs.
Writing Assist helps with text formatting and summarization.
Drawing Assist supports multiple input types, including text, images, and sketches, allowing for enhanced creative expression.
Audio Eraser isolates and removes unwanted background noise in videos.

Seamless Google Gemini integration enables smarter device interactions. For example, long-pressing the side button and saying, “Find pet-friendly Italian restaurants with outdoor seating nearby,” instantly provides recommendations.

Additionally, natural language search makes settings navigation easier. Users can say, “My eyes feel tired,” and receive instant suggestions such as adjusting brightness or enabling Eye Comfort Shield.
