Samsung has launched its latest smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra in the global market including in India along with Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6 at its Unpacked Event.
Galaxy Watch7 -
The Galaxy Watch7 emphasizes holistic self-understanding and daily wellness. It supports over 100 workouts, allows users to create personalized routines with Workout Routine, compares real-time performance with Race, and provides a comprehensive fitness snapshot through Body Composition.
Key features include FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea detection, real-time Heart Rate monitoring with alerts, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN), Electrocardiogram (ECG), and Blood Pressure monitoring. It also boasts an enhanced BioActive Sensor and tracks advanced glycation end products (AGEs) for metabolic health insights.
Powered by a 3nm Processor, the Galaxy Watch7 offers three times faster CPU speed and 30% improved power efficiency. It features a Dual-frequency GPS system for precise location tracking, even in urban areas. The watch's design includes customizable bands and faces, intelligent Suggested replies, Double Pinch Gestures for seamless control, and a Samsung Wallet for everyday convenience.
Galaxy Watch Ultra -
Building on the advanced health monitoring features of the Watch7, the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers premium durability and enhanced fitness capabilities. It features a robust Titanium Grade 4 frame and 10ATM water resistance, making it ideal for extreme environments.
The watch supports multi-sport tracking, including triathlon courses, and provides AI-powered Functional Threshold Power (FTP) metrics for cycling. It also includes a Personalized HR Zone for optimal workout intensity and a Quick Button for immediate access to functions like the Emergency Siren.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra boasts the longest battery life in the Galaxy Watch series, with up to 100 hours in Power Saving mode and 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving mode. It ensures excellent readability with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and includes Night Mode for low-light conditions.
