Samsung Galaxy S5 to launch in India today for about Rs. 51,500 with pre-book offers
Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S5 in India today. Quite possibly pre-orders will also start today by paying Rs. 1500 to register a phone for you, but you should keep in mind that the Galaxy S5 does not ship until April 11th. The Galaxy S5 may have an MRP of about Rs. 51,500 but will be available with a cashback offer of 15% on certain credit cards alongwith an EMI scheme making the phone available for around Rs. 43,775. Samsung had said that they will launch the Galaxy S5 priced lower than the Galaxy S4 but at present this is just speculation. We will know more after the launch event.

The Galaxy S5 presents an iterative update over the S4 with a better build more features and a faster processor. If you are in the market to buy a high-end device then the Galaxy S5 should surely be on your radar but if you own the Galaxy S4, the upgrade isn't really worth the extra moolah. The Galaxy S4 has further dipped in price below Rs. 30000, making it one of the best phones money can buy in this segment alongwith the Nexus 5. So that's another choice right there.
