OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro launched with 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 / 8 Elite SoC, up to 16GB RAM
OnePlus has launched its latest flagship smartphones in the Ace series, the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in China, as previously announced. Both models feature a 1.5K BOE X2 flat display, a self-developed Display P2 chip, and peak brightness reaching up to 4500 nits. The Ace 5 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, boasting an impressive 3.31 million points on AnTuTu.
It introduces the industry’s first chip-level gaming technology, Fengchi Gaming Core, making it the only device capable of native 120 FPS gameplay with 1080p resolution. To ensure efficient cooling, the phone features a dual ice-core 6004mm² single-layer VC heat sink, complemented by a chip air duct design, under-screen graphite heat dissipation film, and a low-temperature aerospace aluminum middle frame. This setup enables rapid heat dissipation, ensuring the device remains cool to the touch even during heavy use.
Additional features include ultra-long-range smart Bluetooth with up to 400 meters of coverage, the industry’s first gaming Wi-Fi chip G1, an e-sports antenna system, and a game cloud computing private network. The Ace 5 Pro is equipped with a 6100mAh glacier battery, capable of reaching 52% charge in just 15 minutes and a full charge in 36 minutes, thanks to 100W flash charging and bypass charging support.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Ace 5 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It features a 9925mm² VC cooling system, native 120 FPS gaming support, and the same display technology as the Pro model. It houses a 6400mAh carbon silicon battery with an energy density of 859 Wh/L, supporting 80W fast charging.
Both devices share a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP front camera. They also feature a ceramic finish in a Porcelain colour variant. The Ace 5 is powered by a 6415mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, while the Ace 5 Pro has a 6100mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Pricing and Availability -
The phones are available for pre-order and will officially go on sale in China beginning December 31st. The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to launch in India and global markets next month under the name OnePlus 13R, featuring slight modifications to its camera and battery specifications.
