Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3), featuring AI capabilities, will launch in 2025. Meanwhile, details about the processors and cameras of the Nothing Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Plus, and CMF Phone (2) have emerged from Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0 builds.
The leaks reveal the codenames for these devices and confirm that the Nothing Phone (3a) series will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, marking an upgrade from the Dimensity 7200 Pro and Dimensity 7350 Pro chips. Benchmark data indicates the phones will run Android 15 and feature 8GB of RAM, with a 12GB RAM variant also expected. Additionally, these devices are rumoured to include telephoto cameras and eSIM support for the first time.
The CMF Phone (2) is expected to use a MediaTek processor, contrary to earlier rumors suggesting a Snapdragon chip, though specific details are still unknown. As for the Nothing Phone (3), there’s no additional information despite it being over a year and a half since the launch of the Nothing Phone (2).
