Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 630 Dual-SIM running Windows Phone 8.1 launched in India for Rs. 10500 and Rs. 11500
Nokia has launched the Lumia 630 and Lumia 630 Dual-SIM in India. Both phones featurea 4.5-inch FWVGA Clear Black display with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor running Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box. There's a 5 MP rear camera without an LED flash which supports 720p HD video capture.
Dual-SIM support was just introduced in Windows Phone 8.1 and the Lumia 630 Dual-SIM is the first phone to take advantage of that. Sadly, there's just 512 MB of RAM onboard which means compatibility wise, some apps might not work on the Lumia 630 but chances are developers have already overcome these restrictions as Microsoft has been aiming at the lower-end to mid-range market for quite some time.
The Lumia 630 Dual-SIM has been priced at Rs. 11,500 and will be available starting May 16th accross retail stores as well as online. The single SIM Lumia 630 will be available for Rs. 10500 later this month. Both will come with 1 GB of 3G/2G data for Vodafone customers for 2 months, 2 months BoxTV subscription as well as Rs. 2000 worth of eBooks from Flipkart.
