Motorola Edge 70 Fusion launching in India Soon with 50MP Sony LYT-710, 144Hz 1.5K Display, 7000mAh Battery
Motorola has officially announced the upcoming launch of its latest smartphone in the Edge 70 series, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion in India soon. The company has confirmed that the phone will be available in Pantone Silhouette, Pantone Blue Surf, and Pantone Country Air colour options, all featuring a leather-inspired finish. It will debut the world’s first 50MP Sony LYT-710 sensor, alongside a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro support and a 32MP front camera. Notably, all cameras will support 4K video recording.
Motorola also claims the device will offer India’s only 144Hz 1.5K true-colour quad-curved display with up to 5200 nits peak brightness in its segment. It will pack a massive 7000mAh battery — the largest ever on a Moto Edge series smartphone — with support for 68W Turbo Charging, while maintaining a slim 7.99mm profile.
The company said more details will be revealed on February 28th. However, earlier reports suggest the phone could feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification and IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Following its global unveiling at MWC 2026 next week, the phone is expected to launch in India in early March. It will be available via Flipkart, motorola.in, and offline retail stores.
