Moto G 3rd-gen gets Android Marshmallow update in India

Motorola has started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in India. The Marshmallow update for the new Moto G was released earlier in the US and Canada.

There are a lot of improvements under the hood with Marshmallow including better performance, battery-life and better security as well. You have granular app-permissions built-in to give you more control over what data/services apps are allowed to access.

Apart from the Moto G 3rd-gen, the Moto X Style, Moto X Play have already received their Marshmallow update in India. The Moto E (2nd-gen) 4G has also been added to the list of Motorola devices getting updated to Marshmallow but there is no timeline as to when its going to happen.
