Micromax Canvas Xpress gets Android Lollipop update, others to follow soon

Micromax has started seeding Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Canvas Xpress A99 which was launched last year running KitKat. Moreover, Micromax has also said that it will update more Canvas series smartphones to Lollipop, but there's no timeframe at the moment.

Micromax Canvas Xpress A99 users can check the OTA update notification or can manually check for the update by going into About phone > Software updates. It is possible that we might see a list of Micromax devices running on the MediaTek MT6582 updated to Android Lollipop.
