Lenovo A6000 Plus gets Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India

Lenovo has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the A6000 Plus in India. The Lenovo A6000 Plus is an upgraded version of the A6000 and comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage. The A6000 is supposed to get the update this month as well.

Android Lollipop for the A6000 Plus will bring support for more themes, changes to the overall design to Vibe UI. We expect some improvements in performance, battery-life as well.

The OTA Lollipop update for the Lenovo A6000 Plus weighs in at 1.09GB and you should download it over WiFi. The update shouldn't erase user data but you can backup unrecoverable stuff just in case the update fails. Do tell us what changes you found in using the device after the update.
