HUAWEI Watch D2 launched with 1.82-inch HD 2.5D AMOLED display, all-day BP monitoring
HUAWEI has launched its latest smartwatch, the HUAWEI Watch D2 at its global event in Barcelona, which is the successor to the Watch D introduced in 2021. The new model offers 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. It is a medically certified wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) device and is the world’s first wrist-worn device to be approved by both the NMPA and MDR, according to the company.
Equipped with the HUAWEI TruSense System for quicker and more accurate results, the company emphasized its partnership with global hypertension experts and its years of research and development to refine its blood pressure technology.
Like its predecessor, the Watch D2 uses a physical airbag system, featuring an ultra-narrow 26.5mm airbag that inflates to take blood pressure readings at scheduled intervals. It offers smart reminders throughout the day and tracks sleep measurements at night. It supports multiple positions, including standing, sitting, or semi-lying, and automatically performs measurements while you sleep.
The Watch D2 also offers Beat-by-Beat ECG Analysis, SpO2 monitoring, heart rate tracking, stress level monitoring, and skin temperature readings. It can measure nine body indicators with a single tap and provide a comprehensive Health Overview report, which includes metrics like heart rate, blood pressure, SpO2, ECG, vascular elasticity, respiratory health, skin temperature, and sleep breathing awareness.
Additionally, the smartwatch supports over 80 exercise modes and tracks daily activities such as exercise, diet, sleep, weight, and stress, promoting a healthier lifestyle. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

The HUAWEI Watch D2 is available in Black and Gold and features a fluoroelastomer strap. It is priced at 399.99 Euros (approximately USD 445 / Rs. 37,235) or 349.99 GBP and will be available from September 19, 2024, in various global markets, including the UK and Europe.
