HTC One Mini is now official, comes with a 4.3-inch 720p display and Snapdragon 400 processor
HTC One Mini is now confirmed, packs in a smaller display and a dual-core processor. In terms of differences between the HTC One and the One Mini, the smaller version uses more plastic than the HTC One, the camera remains the same 4MP Ultrapixel, but loses OIS functionality and there's no NFC either.
Instead of the aluminium backing of the HTC One, the Mini makes do with poly-carbonate shell, which too doesn't look that bad. Let's get down to the specifications then:
- Display: 4.3-inch 720p (720 x 1280 pixels)
- OS: Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- Processor: 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400
- Camera: 4MP Ultrapixel, 1.6MP front-facing
- Storage: 16GB internal, 1GB RAM
- Dimensions: 9.25 mm thick, weight 122 grams
- Multimedia: Dual front stereo speakers, HDR dual-mics, dedicated Beats Amplifier for headphones
- Battery: 1800 mAh
Like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mni, the HTC One Mini wants to take the place of the mid-range consumer choice. Like the flagship HTC One, the Mini too features many of its software features and similar build quality to boot.
