LG G2 confirmed officially, packs Snapdragon 800 CPU and LTE-Advanced
LG has announced the G2, and therefore is dropping the Optimus name. In terms of specifications the LG G2 will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will come with LTE-Advanced that offers speeds upto 150 Mbps. It is a direct competitor to the Galaxy S4 launched last month in Koread with LTE-A.
LG has decided to completely drop the Optimus branding, and stated that going forward its premium line of 4:3 display smartphones will also be called just "VU". The LG G2 is expected to be unveiled in a event in New York on August 7.
