Can Oppo beat Samsung in launching a Foldable Smartphone?

It seems Oppo is working on a foldable smartphone of its own and may beat Samsung to the market with it.

According to new leaks, a prototype for Oppo's foldable smartphone is already in the works and you can see the video here for the folding action.

We have also heard that Samsung is working on a similar smartphone and has already shows its foldable displays on a number of occasions. But its the first time we have seen Oppo working on such a smartphone. Its clear from the images and video that the prototype is in quite an advanced state of development and works with Android onboard.

Oppo has been having a great year with sales and now occupies the 4th spot on the list of largest smartphone vendors in the world.

Foldable smartphones are going to be a reality soon, and its going to be interesting to see how these deices stack up to current-gen solid metal and glass flagships in terms of battery-life, durability.
