Apple Watch coming on April 24th, starts at $349 and goes well over $10,000

The Apple Watch will go on sale April 24th, starting at $349 and climbing way over $10,000 for the top models. There are three categories of Apple Watch announced today alongwith their pricing:

  • Apple Watch Sport - Housed in aluminium alloy casing, $349 for the 38mm model, $399 for 42mm
  • Apple Watch (Classic) - Stainless steel, $549 for 38mm, $599 for 42mm goes up to $1099 based on the strap and size you choose.
  • Apple Watch Edition - 18-karat Gold Apple Watch, starts at $10,000 for 38mm, $12000 for 42 mm

So, the Apple Watch will be available in two sizes 38mm and 42mm, in 3 different variants with a lot of watch bands to choose from between rubber, leather and metal. The premium Apple Watch Edition will only be available at select Apple Retail stores, while the rest of the Apple Watches will be up for pre-order starting April 10th and shipping April 24th in the following countries first:

  • Australia
  • Hong Kong
  • Canada
  • Japan
  • China
  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • United States
  • Germany
