Motorola Moto E (2015) Review: Still a good budget option

Last time around the Moto E was ahead of the pack with excellent build and great ergonomics. The 2nd Gen Moto E continues with the same tradition and gets an hardware upgrade with 4G LTE support. It performs well, runs Android Lollipop and also has a front facing camera. But things have changed, there are a lot many players with good budget offerings like Xiaomi, Alcatel, Asus, Lenovo and the likes. The new Moto E still champions better build and usability, but is let down by its cameras. But there is customization with the replaceable side-bands to make the new Moto E 2nd Generation your own. More details can be found in the video above with review scores, pros/cons of the device below.

    7.8

The original Moto E paved the way for budget smartphones to come, the new Moto E Gen 2 gets a lot right including 4G support, but is slightly behind the curve this time.
