Xiaomi Pad 8 series confirmed to launch this month with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC; Appeared on Geekbench listing

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 8 series will debut in China later this month, alongside the Xiaomi 17 series. Promotional images showcase a familiar design with support for a keyboard and stylus. According to Xiaomi GM Lu Weibing, the tablet will feature an 11.2-inch classic form factor, designed to be lightweight and portable. It will be powered by a high-performance processor, delivering a significant performance boost, and will be the first tablet to run on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, promising double the efficiency.

Recently, a device with the model number Xiaomi 25091RP04C appeared in benchmarks, revealing a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 16GB RAM, and Android 16, marking a substantial upgrade over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 found in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.
Leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station suggest that the entire Pad 8 lineup will feature an 11.16-inch high-refresh LCD screen, 45W / 67W fast charging for the standard and Pro models, respectively, and a ~10,000mAh battery.
More details about the series are expected to be revealed in the days leading up to the official launch later this month.
