Xiaomi 15 launched Globally with 6.36-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Triple 50MP cameras, IP68 ratings
Xiaomi has officially launched its latest samrtphone in the 15 series, the Xiaomi 15 for global markets at MWC 2025, staying true to its promise. The device boasts a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED flat M9 LTPO display with a peak brightness of 3200 nits, a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120Hz, and ultra-narrow 1.38mm uniform bezels.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It also introduces the Xiaomi IceLoop Wing-Type System, which promises three times the performance of traditional VC cooling solutions.
Designed for comfortable one-handed use, the phone features a flat, one-piece aviation-grade aluminum frame with rounded corners and sharp edges, measuring just 71.2mm in width. The Liquid Silver variant incorporates 3D hot-bent glass, creating a wave-like texture when touched.
The device sports a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor (1/1.31″, 1.2μm pixels, f/1.62 aperture), a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 2.6x telephoto camera, all equipped with Leica Summilux lenses. Xiaomi’s AISP 2.0 computational photography platform further enhances imaging capabilities. Additionally, the phone now features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi 15 has a 5240mAh battery—slightly smaller than the 5400mAh variant in the Chinese model—but it retains 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. For optimized power efficiency, it also integrates the Xiaomi Surge P3 intelligent fast-charging chip and the Surge G1 battery management chip.
