Windows Phone 8.1 minor update brings Cortana and Live Folders
Microsoft has announced Windows Phone 8.1 Update, a minor update to the platform which brings Cortana and Live Folders to regions other than the US. The countries getting the update are China, India, Australia and Canada. Live Folders support is also being added to the Start screen using which you can add your favorite apps to one folder.
But this has been categorized as an Alpha release. The update will be rolled out over the next few weeks to phones running the Developer Preview of Windows Phone 8.1 and gradually to devices running its retail version.
