Vivo V40 Lite and V40 Lite 5G launched with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 685/4 Gen 2 SoC
Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in the V40 series, the Vivo V40 Lite 4G and V40 Lite 5G in Indonesia. Both devices feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 32MP front camera housed in the notch. The 4G variant is based on a Snapdragon 685 chipset, while the 5G version runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.
At just 7.79mm thick, the phones sport a 2.5D metallic frame. The 5G model comes with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, whereas the 4G variant replaces the ultra-wide lens with a 2MP camera.
Both models are rated IP64 for dust and splash resistance, and the display supports wet touch technology for use in the rain. They are equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 80W fast charging, reaching 45% charge in just 15 minutes.

The vivo V40 Lite comes in Titanium Silver, Pearl Violet and Carbon Black colours, and the vivo V40 Lite 5G comes in Titanium Silver and Carbon Black colours. The phones will be available in Indonesia from October 17, 2024, with launch offers, and pre-orders have started now.
