This is Google Home, the company's answer to Amazon Echo
Google Home is a smart hub, a speaker, a voice assistant all built into a small package ready for your living room.
Google Home is Google's first hardware launch at I/O 2016. Its the company's take on a wireless speaker with Google Assistant built-in similar to Alexa on the Amazon Echo.
It understands voice commands including natural language, understands you and then gives out a voice response. Google Home has a speaker built-in and you can change the base of the device from a choice of several textures as well as a metal shell. You have four notification LED's at the top to show activity. There are no buttons here, all in all its a very clean design.
Google Home also support Google Cast, meaning you can use it to stream music, videos, or send files from your phone, tablet or PC. It is also the central hub for all connected smart devices including thermostats, smart bulbs, and a usage scenario would be playing music wirelessly in a particular room with just a voice command.
At present there is no word on a launch time-frame for Google Home but its coming later this year.
