TECNO PHANTOM X2 Pro launched in India for Rs.49,999 with 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 9000 SoC, Retractable Portrait Lens
TECNO has launched the world’s first smartphone that features a retractable portrait lens the PHANTOM X2 Pro in India, as they promised. These were unveiled at the TECNO Flagship Product Launch 2022 event in Dubai. It has a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and an In-display fingerprint sensor.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor with up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and is based on Android 12 with HiOS 12. It is powered by a 5160mAh battery with rapid 45W flash charging.
It features Smart 5G 2.0 which significantly reduces 5G power consumption, and an upgraded “Ella” AI Voice Assistant is now available in offline mode. The series also features a unique unibody double-curved build and a 3.5D lunar crater design in three mysterious, space-inspired colors, resulting in an eye-catching look and a comfortable feel.
The PHANTOM X2 Pro has triple rear cameras that include an innovative retractable portrait lens. This ensures the phone remains slim and light, the 65mm lens’ 2.5x optical zoom, large f/1.49 aperture, and shallow 18.9cm depth of field promise a stunningly pure optical bokeh for breathtaking portraiture.
The phone has a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.3″ Samsung GNV sensor and Super Night mode and features a range of self-developed beautification settings to give users even greater freedom when shooting and editing.
The Mars Orange variant of PHANTOM X2 Pro has World’s First Renewable Fiber Back Cover, which is 100% recyclable, is made of 48% eco-friendly material i.e., plastic bottles found in the Indian Ocean, and has a 38% lower carbon emission, as per the company. It has a striking Mars Orange design, representing the stark landscapes of the Red Planet.

The TECNO PHANTOM X2 Pro comes in Moonlight Silver and Stardust Grey colors, and the price of the Phantom X2 Pro is Rs. 49,999 for 12GB RAM with 256 storage versions. It will be available to purchase from 24th January 2023 on Amazon India and retail touchpoints, and the pre-order has started now.
