Sony starts rolling out Android Nougat update to the Xperia Z5 devices
Sony has started rolling out Android Nougat update for the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium. The update with build number 32.3.A.0.372 is currently available OTA and it should make it to the Xperia Z5 Compact as well.
Apart from the multi-tasking features of Android Nougat, the new notifications bar with quick reply, there are Sony's enhancements as well which bring better battery life to the fold. Some more notable changes are a selfie timer for the front camera, and the new Xperia Launcher which integrates Google Now on the left.
The update for the Xperia Z5 weighs in at 1288 MB and should be downloaded over WiFi. This is the final update and not one of the beta ones which Sony was testing earlier. We would love to know if the performance or battery-life on your Xperia Z5 has improved after the update.
