Samsung Z1: First Tizen OS Phone Hits India For Rs. 5700

    Samsung's own home-brewed Tizen OS is ready to hit mainstream with the Samsung Z1, launched in India albeit in budget avatar. Although its priced at Rs. 5700 it comes with decent specs including 4-inch WVGA PLS display, dual-core processor, 768 MB RAM with 3.2 MP camera running Tizen OS v2.3. There's a VGA front facing camera as well, 1500 mAh battery and dual-SIM 3G support.

    There are a lot of freebies with the Samsung Z1 to entice buyers including free access to premium content on Club Samsung with 270,000 songs and over 80 TV channels. Three months Hungama music subscription, free nexGTv and Box TV subscription also come bundled. There's 500 MB of 3G data free for 6 months for Aircel and Reliance subscribers. You also have anti-virus protection built-in and a SOS mode which can be activated by tapping the power button four times.

    The Samsung Z1 will be available in Wine Red, Black and White colors priced at Rs. 5700 and is now available in India.
