Samsung's Tizen based Gear S3 to be unveiled on August 31
Samsung is set to unveil its Tizen-based smartwatch, the Gear S3 at IFA 2016 on August 31st. The company has started sending out invites for the event.
Last year too, Samsung had announced two Gear S2 smartwatches at IFA. At present there are not much details about the new watch but chances are that you will get inbuilt GPS, barometer and an altimeter to make it a better offering for the fitness conscious. Just like the Gear S2, the Gear S3 is also expected to come in two variants, one aimed towards active professionals and one towards fitness enthusiasts. There is talk of a third variant as well but information on that is scarce. We will know more in just a couple of weeks.
