Samsung Unveils 2025 Five New Monitors Lineup Ahead of CES 2025
Samsung Electronics has introduced five new monitors as part of its 2025 lineup ahead of CES 2025, which will take place in Las Vegas from January 7 to January 10, 2025. The new models include the 2025 Smart Monitor M9, Odyssey OLED G8, Odyssey OLED G6, Odyssey 3D, and Viewfinity S8.
2025 Smart Monitor M9 -
The Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) features a self-illuminating OLED panel with advanced AI capabilities. This 32-inch 4K monitor offers a 165Hz refresh rate and incorporates cutting-edge features designed to enhance user experience.
A key highlight is the AI Picture Optimizer, the first of its kind, which analyzes on-screen content and automatically adjusts picture quality based on whether the content is gaming, video, or documents. Other features include a built-in 4K camera for video conferencing and Tizen OS Home, offering access to a wide range of OTT content.
For gamers, the AI adapts picture settings to suit different game genres, while the 4K AI Upscaling Pro feature uses deep learning to transform lower-quality content into 4K. However, this feature is exclusive to the built-in Smart TV app and Gaming Hub when in PQ Priority Mode.
Odyssey OLED Gaming Monitors: G8, G6, and Odyssey 3D -
Samsung has unveiled cutting-edge additions to its gaming monitor lineup:
Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) -
This 27-inch monitor is the first to combine 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) with a 240Hz refresh rate. Boasting 8 million pixels and 165 PPI, it delivers stunningly sharp visuals for an immersive gaming experience.
Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) -
Another 27-inch model, the G6 supports QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) and is the first OLED monitor to achieve an unprecedented 500Hz refresh rate, catering to competitive gamers seeking ultra-smooth performance.
Both monitors feature VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, ensuring deep blacks and exceptional contrast. They also support NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, providing smooth gameplay with minimal screen tearing.
Odyssey 3D -
Samsung also introduced the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), a 27-inch gaming monitor that delivers a glasses-free 3D experience. Using a lenticular lens and a front stereo camera, it creates immersive three-dimensional visuals. Additionally, AI-powered technology can convert 2D content into 3D, enhancing both gaming and multimedia viewing.
Viewfinity S8 -
The Viewfinity S8 is a productivity-focused monitor featuring a 37-inch 4K display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, providing 34% more screen space compared to its predecessor. TÜV Rheinland certified it as an “Ergonomic Workspace Display,” promoting enhanced immersion and efficiency during work.
Key features include an adjustable stand that allows users to customize height, tilt, and pivot for optimal viewing comfort. It also supports USB-C connectivity with up to 90W charging, making it compatible with a wide range of devices.
