Samsung starts rolling out October security patch to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Samsung has been continuously updating its smartphones with the latest security patches every month, and now we have the October security patch coming to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
It is currently rolling out in Europe and should be available in other regions as well. The OTA update version XXS1BPJ1 weighs in at just 29.09 MB but you should still keep your phone charged to over 50% before applying it.
The changelog doesn't say much apart from the usual performance and stability improvements. If you haven't got the update notification yet, just wait a little while longer or you can head to setting and check for updates manually.
