Samsung has announced the integration of Galaxy AI into the Galaxy Watch, following its debut with the Galaxy S24 series. This update enhances the Samsung Health app with robust on-device AI, offering users more personalized and secure health experiences.

With Galaxy AI integrated into Samsung Health, users can access comprehensive health insights and motivational support to enhance their daily wellness.
Energy Score - This functionality offers a nuanced assessment of your daily well-being by analyzing various metrics such as average sleep duration, consistency in sleep patterns, activity levels from the previous day, sleeping heart rate, and heart rate variability.
Wellness Tips - Tailored health recommendations and guidance empower users to pursue their individual health objectives with motivational insights and encouragement.
Greater Precision and Accuracy -
Accurate health metrics are essential for effective health monitoring. The new features leverage advanced health algorithms and AI to deliver more personalized insights.
Enhanced Sleep AI - Newly introduced sleep indicators offer a comprehensive analysis of sleep quality, encompassing factors like sleep movements, latency, heart rate, and respiratory rate, alongside existing metrics such as snoring duration, blood oxygen levels, and sleep cycles.
Advanced Fitness Features -
The new fitness features provide precise and effortless physical capacity measurements.
Running Metrics - The Personalized Health Rate Zone now incorporates detailed metrics for Aerobic Threshold (AT) and Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) Heart Rate Zones, facilitating efficient running and performance evaluation.
Cycling Metrics - Cyclists can swiftly calculate Functional Threshold Power (FTP) metrics within 10 minutes, harnessing AI to personalize power indices and optimize performance.
Workout Routine - Seamlessly blend various exercises for a fluid workout experience and transition seamlessly between activities. Additionally, the Race feature enables runners and cyclists to compare their current and past performances on identical routes.
Availability -
The forthcoming Galaxy Watch lineup, featuring these innovative enhancements, will be accessible through One UI 6 Watch, scheduled for release later this year. A select group of Galaxy Watch users will have early access to the beta program starting in June.
Samsung has hinted that these updates mark only the initial phase, with plans to fully unleash the potential of Galaxy AI through forthcoming hardware upgrades in the upcoming Galaxy Watch series.
