Samsung Unveils the Groundbreaking Gauss Generative AI Model
Samsung has achieved a notable advancement in the realm of generative AI with the creation of a novel model dubbed the Samsung Gauss. Showcased during the second day of the Samsung AI Forum 2023, which spotlighted generative AI, the company unveiled the capabilities of this model.
Paying homage to the renowned mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss, who laid the foundation for the theory of normal distribution, the Samsung Gauss comprises three key elements: Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image.
The Samsung Gauss Language is poised to enhance work efficiency by streamlining tasks such as composing emails, summarizing documents, and translating content. Its integration into devices can also enrich the consumer experience by enabling smarter device control.
Conversely, the Samsung Gauss Code serves as a coding aid (code.i) optimized for in-house software development, enabling developers to create with ease and speed. Through an interactive interface, it provides functionalities like code description and test case development.
Moreover, the Samsung Gauss Image is a generative image model capable of effortlessly producing and editing creative images, including style adjustments and additions, as well as transforming low-resolution photographs into high-resolution ones.
