Samsung has launched its latest low mid-range smartwatch, the new Galaxy Watch FE in the Global Market including India, as an affordable alternative within its smartwatch lineup. The Galaxy Watch FE boasts a 40mm aluminium case with Sapphire Crystal glass, ensuring durability by guarding against scratches. It features a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED Full Colour Always On Display with customizable watch faces.
Powered by a Dual Core Exynos W920 (1.18GHz) processor, it includes 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartwatch is equipped with a 247mAh battery that supports WPC-based wireless charging. Connectivity options for the Galaxy Watch FE include LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo, alongside various sensors such as the Samsung BioActive Sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor.
It supports 100 workouts, offers advanced running analysis, personalized heart rate zones, body composition analysis, and comprehensive sleep tracking features including sleep pattern monitoring, coaching, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification, blood pressure measurement, and ECG.
The Galaxy Watch FE integrates seamlessly with Samsung Galaxy devices, enabling functionalities like Find My Phone, camera control, and Samsung Wallet. It boasts dust and water resistance (IP68) and is suitable for diving (5ATM rating), meeting MIL-STD-810H durability standards. Operating on Wear OS with Samsung’s One UI 5 Watch, it delivers a robust set of features tailored for everyday use.

Pricing and Availability -
The Bluetooth variant of the Galaxy Watch FE is priced at GBP 199 / EUR 219 (USD 235 or approximately Rs. 19,650). It comes in three colors: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver, accompanied by new watch bands that incorporate blue and orange stitching.
Starting June 21, 2024, the watch will be purchasable on samsung.com and selected UK outlets, with availability expanding globally later in the summer.
