HONOR Magic V Flip launched with 6.8-inch foldable/4-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED external screens, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC
HONOR has introduced its inaugural flip phone, the Magic V Flip at an event in China, as they promise. This new device features a 6.8-inch FHD+ 1-120Hz LTPO OLED display capable of up to 3000 nits peak brightness and supports 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
A distinctive feature of the Magic V Flip is its innovative 4-inch 0.1-120Hz LTPO OLED external screen, boasting a slim 2.87mm bezel, an 85% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio, and up to 2500 nits peak brightness. Both displays support Dolby Vision, full-screen AOD, and more.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, accompanied by a 0.25mm ultra-thin liquid-cooled VC and a 2300mm² ultra-large heat dissipation area. It offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage capacity. Camera capabilities include a 50MP Sony IMX816 front camera, a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera supporting 2.5cm macro shots.
In its folded state, the phone measures 14.89mm in thickness, which reduces to just 7.15mm when unfolded, despite housing a sizable 4800mAh battery. It incorporates a self-developed RF-enhanced chip C1+ and supports 66W fast charging, allowing for a 45% charge in 15 minutes and full charging in 42 minutes.

The HONOR Magic V Flip is available in Camellia White, Iris Black, and Champagne Pink, along with a limited edition high-end model created in collaboration with Jimmy Choo. The phone can be ordered now and will be available for purchase in China starting June 21st.
