Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime launching in India soon with fingerprint sensor, 3GB RAM, priced at Rs. 18790
Samsung is all set to launch the recently announced Galaxy J7 Prime in India. This would be first Samsung smartphone to come with a fingerprint sensor under Rs. 20000.
The Galaxy J7 Prime upgrades quite a lot of things from the J7 2016 edition. You now get a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display instead of 720p which is covered in 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 4. It runs on the same Exynos 7870 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz but comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which too is expandable upto 256GB.
The entire phone is made of metal and the speakerphone has been moved to the bottom. The design of the phone is quite different from the current gen Galaxy J series, this looks similar to the Galaxy C series of smartphone Samsung launched earlier. The curves on the sides are more well pronounced and the camera now sits flat at the back.

The J7 prime also gets a 3300 mAh battery which is non-removable. Connectivity options include Dual SIM 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS and NFC should also make it for mobile payments.
