Samsung Galaxy A56 5G CAD-based Images Surfaced Online; Expected Exynos 1580 SoC, Xclipse 540 GPU
Samsung is preparing to announce a new mid-range smartphone in the A series, the Galaxy A56 5G which has appeared in CAD-based renders, courtesy of @OnLeaks. The front design remains familiar, featuring a punch-hole display, while the rear showcases a refreshed camera layout surrounding the triple cameras. However, the flash position remains unchanged.
The device retains its ports and is expected to feature a metal frame and a glass back. Earlier leaks suggest it will sport a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera, similar to its predecessors, the A55 and A54. However, the front camera is rumoured to include a new 12MP sensor.
Benchmark results have revealed the presence of the Exynos 1580 (s5e885) chipset, paired with AMD's Xclipse 540 GPU. The device is also expected to come with 8GB of RAM and run Android 15. Like the Galaxy A16 5G, the A56 5G is anticipated to receive six OS updates and will likely launch with One UI 7.0 in Q1 2025.
