Samsung Galaxy A55 5G Surfaced Online; Expected 6.5-inch Infinity-O display, Exynos 1480 SoC
Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, the highly anticipated mid-range A series smartphone from Samsung, has been surfaced in renders by leakster @OnLeaks. These images showcase a design reminiscent of the Galaxy A15, Galaxy A25, and Galaxy A35.
Reportedly, the dimensions of the phone are 161.1 x 77.3 / 77.9 x 8.2mm, making it slightly taller and wider than the A54. This is attributed to the inclusion of a 6.5-inch Infinity-O display, as opposed to the 6.4-inch screen found in the A54. The device is rumored to be among the first to incorporate the Exynos 1480 SoC (S5E8845), featuring 4 performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz and 4 efficiency cores clocked at 2.05GHz, accompanied by the Xclipse 530 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is said to boast a 50MP main rear camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front camera, mirroring the specifications of the Galaxy A54. Recently, it obtained China’s 3C certification, unveiling support for 25W fast charging, consistent with the Galaxy A54. Notably, a charger is not expected to be included in the box, aligning with the trend observed in most other Samsung phones.
Anticipated to make its debut in early 2024 alongside the Galaxy A35 5G, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is generating considerable excitement in the mid-range smartphone market.
