Redmi K20 Launching in China on May 28. Here's everything you need to know about it.

    Xiaomi Redmi's General Manager, Lu Weibing, has already confirmed that the Redmi K20 will be the first flagship smartphone from the company. It would be the first Redmi smartphone powered by the top of the line Snapdragon 855 processor.

    The Redmi K20 is also going to feature GameTurbo 2.0, that is expected to increase the stability and speed of the device while playing games.

    The company has shared the first image of the back of the phone in Red color that shows triple rear cameras and a three dimensional design.

    The Redmi K20 will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Currently, the Xiaomi Mi 9 holds the top spot on AnTuTu with a score of 371,423 on the benchmark. According to previous leaks, the Redmi K20 could come with new UFS 3.0/3.1 storage and better cooling, which may explain the sky high scores on AnTuTu.

    Coming to hardware and features, the Redmi K20 will have a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The screen dimming feature from the Mi 9 will also make it to the K20, which is supposed to enhance battery life by changing screen brightness based on context or what is being displayed.

    The Redmi K20 will also have a pop-up 20MP selfie camera like the OnePlus 7 Pro. The rear cameras too follow the same lines as OnePlus's flagship with a 48MP primary camera, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide and then a 16MP telephoto camera to round it up. 960FPS super slow motion has also been confirmed.

    Al this is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 27 watt fast charging. There is an official case with the fire-breating dragon on the back, which is expected to come within the package. If you don't like cases, the Redmi K20 will come in Carbon Black, Glacier Blue, and Flame Red colors.

    The Redmi K20 will make its debut in China on May 28. Although there is no confirmation on an India launch, we can expect it to come here later in June.
