Realme Watch 5 launched in India at Rs. 4,499 with 1.97-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, GPS, NFC
Realme has expanded its smartwatch portfolio in India with the launch of the realme Watch 5, introduced alongside the realme P4x 5G smartphone. The Watch 5 is locally manufactured in partnership with Optiemus Electronics as part of the Make in India initiative.
The smartwatch comes with a 1.97-inch AMOLED display offering 600 nits of brightness, protected by 2D flat glass. It features an aluminium-alloy functional crown, a metallic unibody design, honeycomb-style speaker vents, and a 3D-Wave strap made from skin-friendly materials for better visibility even in low-light conditions.
The Watch 5 supports HD Bluetooth calling, NFC, an Always-on Display, and over 300 customizable watch faces. It includes an independent GPS module compatible with five GNSS systems, enabling accurate route tracking without a connected smartphone. Users can access 108 sports modes, guided workouts, and stretching routines, with all activity data synced via the realme Link app.
Other software features include music controls, game guardian mode, a compass, and a personal coaching assistant. Health features cover sleep tracking, SpO2 measurement, heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, and menstruation cycle management. It also offers three types of guided breathing exercises as part of its wellness tools.
The smartwatch promises up to 16 days of battery life with typical usage, and up to 20 days in Light Mode, depending on settings. It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and has passed realme’s four extreme durability tests to ensure reliability in varied environments.

The realme Watch 5 comes in four colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, Mint Blue, and Vibrant Orange. It has a maximum retail price (MOP) of Rs. 4,499, with an introductory offer of Rs. 3,999. The first sale kicks off on 10th December at 12 Noon on realme.com, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores.
