Nokia announces QWERTY Asha 210 with dedicated WhatsApp button

    Nokia has announced its "something new", its a QWERTY Nokia Asha 210 Series 40 feature phone with a dedicated WhatsApp button. The phone also features Twitter and Facebook support alongwith emails. The design is clearly inspired from the Nokia's Lumia line of Windows Phones. 

    The Nokia Asha 210 also has a dedicated camera key which allow its 2MP camera to be activated even without unlocking the phone. The camera also has an intuitive self portrait feature which:

    gives you voice-guidance on where to point to make sure your face is in the frame. And once you’ve taken your shot, you can edit images directly in the camera app

    The Asha 210 also has Nokia's Xpress Browser which provides 90% reduction in data consumption through cloud compression of data from sites you open. Local listings about sights, restaurants and other places can be received through inbuilt Nokia Nearby app, although the phone does not have a GPS.

    The QWERTY Nokia Asha 210 will be available in both single and dual sim variants, where sim can be removed without even powering down the phone. You can get the Asha 210 in yellow, cyan, black, magenta and white for about $72 or Rs. 4000 when it becomes available around June.
