Press images of new Google Nexus 7 leak ahead of announcement
Here are the press images of the new 2013 Google Nexus 7 made by Asus, the new model looks a lot thinner and has onscreen buttons rather than capacitive ones. On the back of the device you can see the Nexus branding and a relatively large camera module. There seems to dual speakers, one right next to the camera module and another at the bottom of the device next to the micro-USB port. At the base of the backcover you can see the ASUS logo as well.
You can see in the poster above that the second-gen Nexus 7 will come with a 1920 x 1200 resolution display as well as storage options of both 16 GB and 32 GB. This time around ASUS has decided to go with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip instead of the NVIDIA Tegra 3 found on the previous Nexus 7. The new tablet along with Android 4.3 are going to be unveiled on July 24th and be sure to tune in then to see what all Google has in store for us.
