Nokia Lumia 625 with 4.7-inch display, dual-core processor, LTE is now official
Nokia Lumia 625 is now official, its the new affordable Lumia smartphone and the successor to the 620. It has a 4.7-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection, super sensitive touch and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930 processor with 512 MB RAM and 8GB internal memory. The phone runs on Windows Phone 8 with Nokia's Amber update. This is Nokia's biggest phone to date, due to the 4.7-inch display.
In terms of imaging, the Lumia 625 has a 5-megapixel auto focus primary camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture lens and can record 1080p videos. Nokia Cinemagraph and Smart Camera make it to the new affordable smartphone as well. It also has a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The polycarbonate shells are interchangeable and provide a soft matte finish. There are the regular connectivity options available with the 625 including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and also 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+ in supported markets.
The Lumia 625 will be available in orange, yellow, bright green, black and white colors with changeable shells. The phone is expected to go on sale in China, Europe, India, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America in Q3 2013 at the price of € 220 (about Rs. 17,318).
