POCO Pad launching in India Soon with 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC

POCO has begun teasing the launch of the POCO Pad in India, marking the company’s first tablet debut in the country. Like other POCO devices, the tablet will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

The POCO Pad was introduced globally in May and features a 12.1-inch 2.5K+120Hz LCD screen. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, offers up to 8GB of RAM, includes quad speakers, and has a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. For photography, it has 8MP cameras on both the front and back.

The POCO Pad comes with three optional accessories - a POCO Smart Pen with 4096 pressure sensitivity levels, a POCO Pad Keyboard Features a 64-key layout and a POCO Pad Cover with a three-fold rear suction design.

While it bears similarities to the recently launched Redmi Pad Pro, the POCO Pad is expected to be priced lower than the Redmi Pad Pro, which starts at Rs. 21,999.

In an interview with Digit, POCO India head Himanshu Tandon confirmed that the tablet will launch in India this August, so more details should be available in the coming weeks.
