    POCO has officially announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone in the C series, the POCO C71 in India, set to debut on April 4th as the successor to last year’s POCO C61. The company has revealed that the device will feature a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it the largest screen in the ₹7,000 price segment.

    Additionally, it is designed for enhanced eye comfort, boasting TUV low blue light, flicker-free, and circadian certifications, along with wet display support. The POCO C71 will sport a split-grid design with a striking camera module and will be available in Power Black, Cool Blue, and Desert Gold color options. It also comes with an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

    POCO has confirmed that the device will pack a 5,200mAh battery, the largest in its price range, supported by 15W fast charging with an included charger. The company claims that the battery will retain 80% health even after three years of use.

    In terms of cameras, the phone will feature a 32MP primary sensor, a secondary camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera. It will also offer seven film filters for enhanced photography.

    Powered by an octa-core processor, the POCO C71 is expected to achieve over 300K on AnTuTu. It will come with 6GB of RAM, plus an additional 6GB of virtual RAM, and support storage expansion up to 2TB via a microSD slot.

    The device will ship with Android 15 out of the box, with POCO promising two years of OS updates and four years of security updates. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-band Wi-Fi.

    As always, the smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart following its launch.
